Local Vestries Issue Position StatementsWe have published on this site three specific examples of the actions by vestries in the Diocese of Dallas in response to the question of unity with ECUSA and the Anglican Communion. Many other parishes are working within their own councils to clarify for themselves their position. Some may be struggling to formulate their statements.These examples are set forth so that if your parish may be helped by this, the leadership can take heart in their endeavor, and that we all may be strengthened in our commitment to this unity. It is important that we publish many points of view, and some you may find more to your liking than others. However, a balanced view is, to us, more important than a "propaganda tool" where only one side is presented. We are locating these three statements together for ease in reference.
